Roofing, waterproofing and envelope submittals
We prepare Division 07 submittal packages for roofing, waterproofing, air and vapor barrier, insulation, sheet metal, firestopping and sealant contractors, including the manufacturer letters and warranty documents that most often hold these packages up.
Division 07 submittals we prepare
Envelope packages are system submittals. The membrane, insulation, cover board, adhesives and flashings must come from an approved, compatible system, and the manufacturer often has to confirm it in writing. We assemble the full system and the letters that prove it.

Below-grade sheet, fluid-applied and bentonite systems, drainage composites and protection board, with compatibility and substrate requirements.
07 27 00

Membranes, transition materials and primers with permeance and air-leakage values, and the compatibility letters for adjacent materials.
07 21 00 / 07 22 00

Copings, edge metal, gutters and downspouts with gauge, finish and the wind-resistance test listings roof edges often require.
07 84 00

Tested system listings for every penetration and joint type on the job, organized by rating and penetrant, ready for the inspector.
07 92 00

Sealant types by joint location, color samples, primers, backer rod and the adhesion or compatibility testing the spec requires.
07 40 00
Roof & wall panels
Metal and composite panel systems with profiles, finishes, clips, fastening and the warranty and performance data required.
Section numbers follow CSI MasterFormat. Your project manual always governs: we build each package from its own Part 1 submittal requirements. Need another section? See the full CSI divisions list.
Every package we deliver includes
- Transmittal cover sheet for every package, numbered by spec section and revision
- Bookmarked, indexed PDF so reviewers can jump straight to each item
- Line-by-line spec check against Part 2 (products) and the Part 1 submittal article
- Marked-up product data: the exact model, size, options and accessories highlighted
- Deviations listed up front, never buried, with the reason for each
- RFI drafts when the drawings and specs conflict, instead of guessing
- Resubmittals that answer every reviewer comment, one by one
Why Division 07 submittals get sent back
- Roofing components from different manufacturers with no letter confirming they qualify for the specified warranty
- Missing wind-uplift, fire or impact classification for the specified roof assembly
- Installer certification or manufacturer approval letter not included
- Firestop submittal with generic data instead of a tested system for each condition
- Air barrier transitions and adjacent materials with no compatibility documentation
- Sealant colors submitted as a printed chart instead of the actual samples the spec requires
More on this: common reasons submittals get rejected.

Frequently asked questions
Do you get the manufacturer’s warranty and compatibility letters?
We identify every letter the spec requires, request the right documents from your manufacturer representative with you, and include them in the package. Some letters can only be issued by the manufacturer, so we start that request early.
Can you prepare a firestop submittal for the whole building?
Yes. Send us the penetration and joint conditions or the drawings and we organize tested systems by assembly rating and penetrant type, with a matrix the inspector can follow.
How do you price roofing and waterproofing submittals?
Per package or per spec section, as a flat number you approve before we start. Send the Division 07 spec sections and drawings and you will have a quote within 48 to 72 hours. One round of revisions for reviewer comments is included.
Do you handle roofing closeout and warranty documents?
Yes. We assemble the warranty, final inspection reports and maintenance instructions into the closeout package. See our O&M manual preparation service.
Send us your spec book. Get a flat quote in 48–72 hours.
No account, no software and no retainer. Tell us the sections you need and we price exactly that.
