Concrete and masonry submittals, assembled to the spec
We prepare Division 03 and 04 submittal packages for concrete and masonry contractors: mix designs, reinforcing, admixtures, curing compounds, CMU, mortar, grout, ties and flashing. Every item is tied back to the specification before the engineer sees it.
Division 03 & 04 submittals we prepare
Concrete and masonry packages are judged on numbers: strength, slump, air, water-cement ratio, unit strength, mortar type. We put the required values next to the submitted values so the reviewer can check them in seconds.
03 30 00
Cast-in-place concrete
Mix designs for each class of concrete with strength, w/c ratio, slump, air content and supporting strength test records, plus admixture, fiber and aggregate data.
03 20 00
Concrete reinforcing
Rebar grades, mill certificates, epoxy coating data, mechanical splices, welded wire reinforcement and bar supports, organized for the detailer’s placing drawings.
03 15 00 / 03 35 00
Accessories, joints & finishing
Waterstops, joint fillers and sealants, vapor retarders, curing and sealing compounds, hardeners and finish products with application data.
03 41 00 / 03 45 00
Precast concrete
Product data, connection hardware, inserts and finishes, plus the list of shop drawings and calculations the precaster must provide.
04 20 00
Unit masonry
CMU, brick and stone units with ASTM designations, unit strength, size and color, plus reinforcing, joint reinforcement, ties and anchors.
04 05 13 / 04 05 16
Mortar & grout
Mortar type and proportions or property method data, grout mixes, admixtures and colored mortar samples requested by the spec.
04 05 19 / 07 65 00
Anchors, ties & flashing
Veneer anchors, adjustable ties, through-wall flashing, drip edges, weeps and cavity drainage materials, coordinated with the wall sections.
Samples & mock-ups
Physical samples
Sample transmittals for brick, stone, mortar color and finish panels, and the mock-up submittals the spec requires before production work.
Section numbers follow CSI MasterFormat. Your project manual always governs: we build each package from its own Part 1 submittal requirements. Need another section? See the full CSI divisions list.
Every package we deliver includes
- Transmittal cover sheet for every package, numbered by spec section and revision
- Bookmarked, indexed PDF so reviewers can jump straight to each item
- Line-by-line spec check against Part 2 (products) and the Part 1 submittal article
- Marked-up product data: the exact model, size, options and accessories highlighted
- Deviations listed up front, never buried, with the reason for each
- RFI drafts when the drawings and specs conflict, instead of guessing
- Resubmittals that answer every reviewer comment, one by one
Why concrete and masonry submittals get sent back
- Mix design without the strength test records or trial batch data the spec requires
- Water-cement ratio, air content or slump outside the specified limits for the exposure class
- Admixtures submitted without showing compatibility with the cement and other admixtures
- Masonry units without ASTM designation, unit strength or the specified color and texture
- Mortar type that does not match the structural notes (for example Type N where Type S is required)
- Missing mill certificates or coating data for reinforcing steel
More on this: common reasons submittals get rejected.

Frequently asked questions
Do you prepare rebar placing drawings?
We prepare the reinforcing product submittals and coordinate the package. Rebar detailing and placing drawings are usually produced by the fabricator’s detailer; if you need them prepared, tell us when you request a quote and we will confirm scope.
Can you work with our ready-mix supplier?
Yes. We collect mix designs, test records and material data from your supplier, check them against the specification, and assemble them into a package with the required values highlighted.
How do you price concrete and masonry submittals?
Per package or per spec section, as a flat number you approve before we start. Send the Division 03 and 04 spec sections and drawings and you will have a quote within 48 to 72 hours. One round of revisions for reviewer comments is included.
Do you provide engineering calculations or a PE stamp?
No. We are a document preparation service. When a section makes something a delegated-design item that needs a licensed engineer’s seal, we flag it when we quote, prepare everything around it, and coordinate with the engineer you or the manufacturer engage.
Send us your spec book. Get a flat quote in 48–72 hours.
No account, no software and no retainer. Tell us the sections you need and we price exactly that.
