Plumbing submittals that get approved the first time
We prepare Division 22 submittal packages for plumbing contractors: fixtures, carriers, trim, piping, valves, drains, water heaters and hangers. Every item is matched to your spec book before the engineer sees it.
Division 22 submittals we prepare
Plumbing packages fail on details: a carrier that doesn't match the fixture, a flush valve with the wrong flow rate, a faucet missing the spec's flow restrictor. We build each package around the exact model numbers, options and accessories the specification calls for.
22 40 00 – 22 47 00
Plumbing fixtures
Water closets, urinals, lavatories, sinks and drinking fountains, each with its carrier, flush valve or faucet, trap, supplies and drain, matched as a complete assembly with ADA and flow-rate compliance shown.
22 11 16 / 22 11 19
Domestic water piping & specialties
Pipe and fittings, backflow preventers, thermostatic mixing valves, water hammer arresters, hose bibbs and wall hydrants, with lead-free and pressure ratings highlighted.
22 05 23
General-duty valves
Ball, gate, check and balancing valves with body material, end connections and pressure class tied back to the valve schedule.
22 13 16 / 22 13 19
Sanitary waste, vent & specialties
Pipe systems, floor drains, floor sinks, cleanouts and trap primers, coordinated with the drain schedule and finish floor types.

Storm drainage & sump pumps
Roof and overflow drains, storm piping, and sump or ejector pumps with pump curves, controls and wiring diagrams.
22 34 00
Water heaters
Gas or electric water heaters with capacity, recovery, efficiency, venting and piping diagrams, plus the warranty the spec requires.
22 05 29
Hangers & supports
Hanger types and spacing, and the PE-sealed trapeze or equipment-support calculations when the spec makes them a delegated design item.
22 07 00
Plumbing insulation
Insulation types and thicknesses by pipe size and service, jackets, and fitting covers, checked against the energy code tables.
22 05 53
Identification
Pipe markers, valve tags and the valve chart, with colors and lettering per the spec.
Section numbers follow CSI MasterFormat. Your project manual always governs: we build each package from its own Part 1 submittal requirements. Need another section? See the full CSI divisions list.
Every package we deliver includes
- Transmittal cover sheet for every package, numbered by spec section and revision
- Bookmarked, indexed PDF so reviewers can jump straight to each item
- Line-by-line spec check against Part 2 (products) and the Part 1 submittal article
- Marked-up product data: the exact model, size, options and accessories highlighted
- Deviations listed up front, never buried, with the reason for each
- RFI drafts when the drawings and specs conflict, instead of guessing
- Resubmittals that answer every reviewer comment, one by one
Why plumbing submittals get sent back
- Fixture submitted without its carrier, trim or drain, so the reviewer can't approve the assembly
- Flush valve or faucet flow rates that don't match the spec (for example a 1.0 gpf urinal valve where 0.125 gpf is required)
- Approved-equal products with no comparison to the basis of design
- Wrong rough-in or spud size for the selected fixture
- Missing lead-free, ADA, WaterSense or listing documentation the spec calls for
- Cut sheets with every option shown and nothing highlighted
More on this: common reasons submittals get rejected.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work from our preferred manufacturers?
Yes. If you already have pricing or a preferred brand, tell us and we build the package around it, showing compliance with the specified basis of design. If a product is a substitution, we flag it and prepare the comparison the spec requires.
Can you handle a resubmittal after a rejection?
Yes. Send us the returned submittal with the reviewer's comments. We correct each item, add anything missing, and write a response to every comment so the reviewer can see exactly what changed.
Do you prepare plumbing shop drawings too?
Yes. When a section calls for shop drawings, such as coordination drawings or delegated-design hanger details, we include them. Anything requiring a professional engineer's seal is identified when we quote.
How do you price plumbing submittals?
Per package or per spec section, as a flat number you approve before we start. Send the plumbing spec sections and drawings and you'll have a quote within 48 to 72 hours.
